Well this is one of my most favoriote streets in the world. It is an odd, elevated strip that snakes through a very crowded cluster of apartment buildings in Pok Fu Lam, near the Western District. You cannot see any of the supports for the road which make it feel very eerie. You can practically reach out and touch the laundry hanging from the balconies! It is difficult to photograph, so these photos don't really do it justice...this collection is mostly just for me! :-)

Ling's Shop in Stanley
One of my all-time favorite people in Hong Kong is "Ling," she owns a shop in Stanley and sells lots of Chinese "kitsch." She loves the girls and comments on how much they change every time we go there. She is one of the kindest people I've ever met. We love to buy souvenirs from her store. Here we are together on one of the muggiest days EVER...both of us are sweaty!

Green Hills in the Philippines
Green Hills is an amazing warehouse (must be as big as 3 Costcos) market in the Philippines which is jam-packed with stalls selling everything under the sun. Some examples include shoes, and the "copy" handbags abound. But the most amazing part to me is the PEARLS! A decent quality set of bracelet and necklace is $5 USD. I bought a south-sea pendant for myself, and many other sets for friends and family.
Greta Romero and Ella Sanchez from the PH, along with Imelda Fung fromg Hont Kong office. Notice the many rows of stalls of pearls!
